Terms of Service

Last updated: October 5, 2026

These terms apply to the use of erickurt.com (the "website"), operated by bySurf Studios, Jubaydur Rahman (see legal notice). By using the website you agree to these terms.

1. Purpose of the website

This website presents video editing services and past work. It is for information only. Nothing on this website is a binding offer. Any project is only agreed once both sides have confirmed the scope, price, and timeline in writing (email is enough).

2. Projects and services

The details of each project, such as deliverables, deadlines, revisions, payment, and usage rights, are agreed individually by email before work begins. Those individual agreements take priority over these terms.

3. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, design, and graphics, is protected by copyright. You may not copy, modify, or distribute it without prior written permission, except where the law allows. Channel names, logos, and avatars of clients belong to their respective owners and are shown only to reference completed work.

4. Results and statistics

View counts and other figures describe past results and were accurate at the time of publication. They are not a guarantee of future performance, since the success of a video also depends on factors outside the editor's control.

5. External links

The website links to third-party sites such as YouTube and YTJobs. We are not responsible for their content or availability. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.

6. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body, or health. For slight negligence we are only liable for breaches of essential obligations, limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Liability under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected. We do our best to keep the website available and accurate, but cannot guarantee that it is always error-free or reachable.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use the website in a way that harms it or its operator, for example by attempting to gain unauthorised access, overloading it, or scraping it automatically for commercial purposes.

8. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. The version published on this page applies.

9. Applicable law and jurisdiction

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not remove the protection of mandatory provisions of the country where you live. If you are a merchant, the place of jurisdiction is Berlin, Germany. If any provision is invalid, the rest of these terms remain in effect.

10. Contact
